Greetings Seniors!
I've just returned from pod-cast training and I am working on ideas for you to cast some pods, so to speak. We will learn more about them later.
This week we are finishing up Hamlet and moving on to the next great work of the Renaissance: Paradise Lost, Milton's epic about the fall of man. The story, as all true epics do, begins in medias res. You will learn not only the story, but the conventions of the epic form. After finishing this work, you will read excerpts from one of the most famous allegories ever written, John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress.
Expect two quizzes this week: one on lesson 19 vocabulary and one on allusions.
