Hope you all had a good weekend. We have lots in store for this week.
- We will continue honing our reading skills by finding main ideas, summarizing, making inferences and placing texts in logical order.
- We will hone our writing, organization and research skills by finishing our notes for our research papers, creating outlines and writing rough drafts. I have reserved some lab time this week, but you'll need to do some of this on your own time. Check my moodle pages for deadlines.
- We will review our grammar rules with practice exams and learn new (for this year) skills such as identifying and editing active and passive voice, maintaining parallel structure, and differentiating commonly-confused words.
- Also, don't forget to turn in those journal entries. I'll be checking my moodle soon and uploading your grades.
- Finally, don't forget the weekly vocabulary quiz on lesson 12.
